How to disable minimize, maximize button in the browser?, +1 for the closest way to achieve it, but it's kinda sketchy -- Chrome ignores this with respect to sizing controls, minimize, and maximize buttons. IE8 disables the maximize, but allows minimize. – Jonathon Faust Jan 21 '11 at 2:35 , About ,Thanks for contributing an answer to Stack Overflow!

WIll give you a new window without the menubar and without the toolbar. That's what I'm assuming you want when you say "disable". If you just want to disable the functionality while still showing the buttons, then you can't.,Look here for a reference on the window.open() method.

Answer #2:

Don't tell someone to read the manual. Chances are they have and don't get it. Provide an answer or move on to the next question. ,If a question is poorly phrased then either ask for clarification, ignore it, or edit the question and fix the problem. Use the ResizeMode property,Set the HideMinimizeButton and HideMaximizeButton properties,If you want to hide the Minimize and Maximize buttons you have two options:,The easiest way to hide the minimize or maximize buttons is to set the HideMinimizeButton and HideMaximizeButton properties respectively. This is demonstrated in Example 1.

<telerik:RadWindow xmlns:telerik="http://schemas.telerik.com/2008/xaml/presentation" HideMaximizeButton="True" HideMinimizeButton="True" Header="MainWindow">
